In the Our Clients’ Businesses listings, we represent the sellers of the business (exiting parties). We are frequently asked if we represent buyers (entering parties) in acquisitions where another company represents a business that is for sale. The answer is yes. In these cases, our client is the Buyer and we enter into an agreement to represent the Buyer interests in the initial preparation, business search, business appraisal, negotiation, funding, preparation of the transfer documents and consummation of the transaction. When appropriate a third party attorney and a CPA become involved for your benefit of their expertise.

Upon the acceptable review of your personal and financial information, we will forward additional information about the target business to you and then schedule a time for Joe Camp to call you to explain the benefits of our buyer representation program. From there, we would move into your education about the acquisition process and the specific business you have inquired about. It is common to involve other interested parties and/or your advisors as needed in these conference calls. Please remember, in this case, we are your Advocate and will not accept any compensation from the Seller or their representative(s). However, the Seller could reimburse you for your fees and expenses that you paid to us.

If one of these businesses appeals to you and you would like to learn more,
Call (888) 644-5219 or Complete Our Entering Form.

Be sure to inquire about our Buyer Search Services, where we conduct a Targeted Search to locate a business that meets your personal, financial, and geographic requirements. This is a great way to find just the right business where you and your family prefer to live. These Searches often benefit those who do not wish to relocate their family as targeted searches may occur in any area of the U.S. It is also common for Buyers to bring us Businesses For Sale in their area and ask us to represent them (buyer) in the business transfer.

Jerry and Mendy Tippet

“When a buyer is asked to complete a company’s qualification forms, it’s just good common sense to do it if you are at all interested in their client’s business. From what I have seen, there are far more qualified buyers than there are qualified businesses. The qualification forms are a way of getting to the top of list of good prospects quite easily… a great way to put your best foot forward without a lot of effort.

A quality firm like BizAdvocates just wants to know they have a quality prospect whose financial means is in the ball park for a likelihood of a possible transaction. In our case, Joe and Sandy used their experience with other industry professionals to help us buy the company we inquired about initially with better terms than we expected and better tax advantages for the owners which created a win-win for all.”
